The vaccum works so well that it captured the same amount of hair/dust in the family room as the old one did of the whole house. It made me feel like my house had never been this clean before. It is so powerful that you can see the result immediately after the vaccum passed by.
The filter needs to be cleaned everytime you use it. It is clearly stated on the instruction. Considering how much hair/dust it caputures, the extra labor is well worth it.
The only thing is it is pretty heavy, not easy to carry up and down stairs.
